The original cast posts were not set securely, requiring us to break up old footings, remove rusted rebar, and epoxy new supports to ensure structural integrity. Additionally, mounting the aluminum fence to the cast posts demanded custom L-bracket fabrication and epoxy installation for a clean finish. Another hurdle was navigating approvals from the historic preservation department, as they initially opposed the use of aluminum fencing. Through persistence and careful negotiation, we secured approval, delivering a fence that not only met structural and aesthetic standards but also satisfied the homeowners and received praise from the neighborhood.
